Bassix

Keeping it simple, lovin’ the bass, telling stories and letting it all out, is what the Bassix are about!

This three (sometimes four, sometimes mour!) piece group, is fronted by singer songwriter ‘Miss Jodie’ on acoustic guitar and vocals, accompanied by Julian Smith on double bass and 16 year old drum player Erica T.

These guys play 98% original music touched by blues, pop, soul and groove. Their sets may also include a few favourites from Michelle Shocked, The Audreys and Missy Higgins.

A touch of old, a little bit blue, this group is also quite new! Having begun the year in the Chai tent at Woodford these guys have embarked on their first series of gigs outside of their home base Dunoon.
