At a Kids Blues workshop, you learn about the blues while having a great time!

What's your poison — er, instrument?

Despite what the name might suggest, the blues can be great fun. You don't need to be a maestro, just pick up something to pluck, bash or blow and join in the jam!

You'll be glad you did.

Participants will…

• Use a variety of jug band style blues instruments. (Washboards, jugs, kazoos, t-chest bass etc.)
• Expand knowledge about blues history and the myriad of related styles.
• Have opportunities to practice theoretical and instrumental skills.
• Develop positive attitudes towards “The Blues”.
• Create a blues tune as a group.
• Display new skills and practiced material.
• Receive a participation certificate and Kids Blues sticker.
